My stay at the resort was mixed—there were some enjoyable aspects, but several factors made it less appealing overall. The spacious accommodations and facilities were a highlight, and the onsen had a great view of the snowy landscape, but accessing various areas could be a hassle due to the cold weather. Additionally, the dining options were quite limited, and the Wi-Fi connection was frustratingly slow, which detracted from the experience.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious but lacked sufficient storage space, forcing us to live out of our suitcases during our stay. However, they were comfortable overall.
Service
6.0
The service was decent, but it could be improved as our bags were stored for us when we arrived, which was helpful. There were some frustrations with the need to carry around receipts for equipment rentals.
Location
5.0
The resort is quite remote, sitting alone in the wilderness without easy access to nearby towns. This self-contained aspect felt a bit isolating at times.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were limited; while the food was generally fine, it lacked variety and the prices were high. Breakfast offered at the 31st floor was good, but other meals felt overpriced.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were plentiful but had their drawbacks, including a disappointing onsen that was heavily chlorinated. The overall range of activities was good but could be more organized.

I had a fantastic stay at this resort, especially for a winter holiday. The facilities were excellent for families, the dining options were varied and enjoyable, and the service was helpful. However, the exterior of the buildings looked a bit outdated, and I think the rooms could use a mini bar for added convenience.

Rooms
8.0
The room we had on the 21st floor was clean and well-appointed, offering stunning views. However, it would have been nice to have a mini bar.
Service
9.0
The service was exceptional, particularly from the concierge team, who were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.
Location
9.0
The resort is ideally located with easy access to the ski lifts and restaurants, all connected through a covered walkway.
Dining
9.0
There were plenty of dining options available, from Japanese to Italian, which made meal times enjoyable and convenient since the resort is a bit far from town.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities, including the ski and luggage storage, were excellent. The whole complex is designed with family-friendliness in mind, although I felt the outside could use some updates.

The resort had a cozy atmosphere and the family suite we booked was spacious and clean, but it was frustrating to navigate the dining options and shuttle service. While we enjoyed the free drinks and the play areas for the kids, the overall experience was overshadowed by the lack of convenient meal choices and the uncomfortable temperature in the suite.

Rooms
7.0
Our family suite was spacious with a decent living area and a bathroom equipped with a jacuzzi. However, the heavy metal doors and cold bathroom made it less comfortable.
Service
6.0
Staff were polite and helpful, but the shuttle service was tiring with long wait times.
Location
8.0
The resort is situated in a scenic area, surrounded by nature, which made for nice walks and a pleasant atmosphere.
Dining
5.0
Dining was confusing with limited options, and the quality wasn't as expected. We found it challenging to navigate the restaurant hours and breakfast availability.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included a play area and a cozy lobby, but the amenities were limited, and we constantly found ourselves searching for food.

We had a fantastic family skiing holiday at Tomamu. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, making it a great base for our ski adventures. The resort offered a variety of dining options, although slightly pricier than other areas in Japan. While the ski schools were quite busy, the overall experience was very enjoyable, especially the incredible Ice Village. However, the location was a bit crowded with tourists, which could be overwhelming at times.

Rooms
9.0
The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It provided a perfect retreat after a long day on the slopes.
Service
10.0
The service throughout our stay was excellent; we never had to wait long for anything, which made our family vacation much smoother.
Location

Tomamu is a bit crowded with tourists, but it is well-organized, and the ski slopes never felt overwhelmingly busy. It's conveniently located for day trips to nearby attractions.
Dining
7.0
There was a good selection of restaurants with tasty food, although the prices were a bit higher than other areas in Japan.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities overall were good with a fantastic ski rental experience and plenty of activities to choose from, although we didn't use the Onsen.

Our experience at the resort was overall enjoyable with fantastic facilities and a warm greeting upon arrival. The dining options were quite good, especially breakfast, but the price can be steep. However, the noisy upstairs footsteps in the rooms detracted from the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. The lack of a main lift compounded our frustrations, making skiing less accessible than we had hoped.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the floors were quite thin, making it easy to hear footsteps from above.
Service
10.0
Service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to assist and help us settle in.
Location
6.0
The location is a bit isolated from main attractions, which could be a downside if you don’t drive.
Dining
8.0
Dining options were plentiful, with breakfast on the 31st floor being particularly good; however, we had to wait quite a bit during peak hours.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were great, with various activities and a good onsen, yet it was inconvenient due to the main lift being out of action.
